Swapped my gas car for an ebike for daily commutes in Portland
I used to drive my old Honda every day to work, about 6 miles each way through stop-and-go traffic. Last month I bought a $1,200 ebike from a local shop and now I'm saving like $50 a week on gas alone. The hills here were rough at first but the pedal assist helps a ton. Has anyone else made a similar switch and seen a big drop in their carbon footprint?

Honestly I used to think ebikes were just for lazy people but trying the hills here totally proved me wrong.
