Thought heat pumps were overhyped until my January bill in Boise came in at $61
I figured they were one of those things people push online but never actually run in a real house, since my old place in Boise had a gas furnace and I never gave it a second thought. Then my brother-in-law talked me into one 2 winters ago and that first January bill landed at $61 when the old furnace ran me closer to $180 a month. Now I'm wondering if anyone else made the switch and saw the same thing, or if my place just happens to be a good fit for one.
