Dropped $400 on drone mapping software that kept crashing on site

Was hyped for lidar integration but the thing froze every 20 minutes. Is the fancy stuff actually worth it or should I stick with basic photogrammetry?

Did your friend try switching to photogrammetry for the rough cut and only using lidar on the final runs? My buddy had a similar setup and that workflow saved him from tossing his laptop into a creek.

Man I feel your pain, $400 for something that can't even stay running for 20 minutes is brutal. Lidar can be a game changer but only if the software actually works first.
