I finally stopped hating on drone surveys after a rainy Tuesday in Seattle saved my schedule.
The drone pilot I hired for $350 got the site topo data in two hours when the ground crew would've been stuck for a day, so now I'm looking at getting my own Part 107 license-what's the best training course you guys have used?

Wait, hold up, only $350? That's the part that's blowing my mind. I've been quoted triple that just for a basic residential lot. That pilot did you a huge solid, or the market's totally different where you are. For training, I just did the free FAA stuff and then paid for the practice tests from one of the big online schools. It was enough to pass.

Yeah, that $350 was a total fluke. My cousin's friend is a pilot who needed flight hours, so he basically used my empty field as a cheap place to practice his landings. I got lucky. Your method makes way more sense, averywright. I tried the free FAA stuff too but kept zoning out. Paid ten bucks for a set of practice tests online and finally passed after failing the first try. My brain just needs the structure of a real quiz to make it stick.
