I thought the new concrete sensors were just a gimmick until our pour in Dallas
We used a set of Giatec SmartRock monitors on a foundation slab last month, and the real-time strength data let us strip forms a full day early. I was sure it was just extra cost for no reason, but seeing the exact PSI climb on my phone changed my mind. Has anyone else tried these on a tight schedule project?

Totally get being skeptical at first. We ran a test batch on a parking garage pour in Austin last summer (the heat was a real worry). Having that live data stopped us from a too-early strip that would have wrecked the surface finish. It felt less like a guess and more like actually knowing what was happening in the mix. The schedule gain was nice, but for me, it was about not messing up the concrete.

Exactly. Data beats guessing every single time.

That parking garage job in Austin must have been brutal with the summer heat. Sounds like the data saved your guys from a world of headache lol. I bet the foreman was real happy not having to re-pour a whole deck because someone got impatient.
