Paid $300 for a drone mapping subscription and it barely works half the time
Signed up for that cloud processing service to speed up site surveys, but the software keeps crashing on medium sized lots. The aerial data is nice when it actually loads, but I'm back to using my total station for anything urgent. Anyone else had better luck with a different provider?

Oh come on, is a crashed software really that big of a deal? You spent $300, not $3,000. I've had mapping tools flake out on me too but I just reboot and try again. Maybe you're expecting too much from a cloud service on a medium lot anyway, those things choke on any real data.

You said "those things choke on any real data" - have you actually tried running it on a medium lot yourself, or are you just guessing it's not a big deal?
