Ran punch lists off my phone camera for 2 yrs till a 19 yr old sub showed me one 30 second trick
I always took pics of problem spots on walked jobs and typed notes later, and that system cost me maybe 6 or 7 hours a week. Last Tuesday at a 40 unit build in Mesa a young sub watched me squint at a blurry shot of a bad door frame and asked why I don't just mark it up live. He pulled out a $12 tablet stylus, drew a red circle on the pic, and dropped the room number into the file name in about 30 seconds. I had been retaking shots 2 or 3 times because half came out too dark or off angle, then playing detective back at the trailer. Now I do all my walk notes on the spot with the stylus and the pics stay on the room folder, done. Anybody got a cheap tablet they actually like for this, or am I in for the same fight with glare in direct sun?
