Scaffold sensor failure from rushed software updates

Our site got new wireless load sensors. Bosses pushed a firmware update over the weekend. Crew connected them Monday without testing. Middle of the day, readings went blank. A whole bay showed zero weight but was fully loaded. Had to evacuate and do manual checks. Never install updates without a dry run first.

A whole bay reading zero while fully loaded is insane, lol. That's how people get killed.

How do bosses not see the risk in skipping tests? I mean, pushing updates without a dry run is asking for trouble. Idk, maybe it's just me but that zero reading while loaded is scary as hell. People could get hurt real bad from that kind of mistake. We always test our gear after any update, no exceptions. Rushing things just to save time isn't worth the danger.
