Two weeks ago I finally set up a drone for roof inspections
I was always climbing ladders to check flashings and shingles, which took forever and felt risky. Last month I grabbed a DJI Mini 4 Pro for $800 and mapped my first two roofs with it. The thermal cam caught a heat leak near the chimney that I would have missed on foot. Anyone else switch to drone work and find it changes how you estimate repairs?

My first drone flight ended with it stuck in a pine tree for three hours until my neighbor got his ladder out, so hey at least you've already got yours working. That thermal cam finding is huge though, I bet it saves you from a lot of "oops, missed that" callbacks.

@hugo_craig my drone once landed in a dumpster so I'm not judging anyone's flight skills.
