Unpopular opinion: I was entering my daily logs by hand for 2 years because I thought apps were for the office guys
I run a small remodel crew here in Spokane and for 2 years I wrote every daily log on paper, then typed it up at night. Thing is, I kept losing track of who was on which site and my hours were off by like 6 to 8 a week, which showed up as a $900 mistake on one job alone. A sub handed me his tablet at a crawlspace job and showed me he does his report in 90 seconds with photos and GPS stamped on it. I sat in my truck and realized I was spending 45 minutes every evening on something he does before he leaves the driveway. If you are still doing paper logs because the software looks like it was built for big GCs, check what your subs are already running. What app are you all using for daily logs that does not need a 3 hour training call?
