Walked into a job trailer in Amarillo and the whole crew was huddled around a tablet watching a drone map a slab
Honestly I walked in expecting donuts and instead found 5 guys staring at a screen like it was the Super Bowl. The foreman pulled up a flyover shot that showed a 60 foot section of our formwork was set 4 inches off from the plan, which we would have caught way later with a tape. Ngl it saved us at least a full day of pour prep and a truckload of concrete. Now I get why the guy keeps that drone in his truck next to the levels. Anyone else using drones on smaller pours or is that still mostly a big site thing?
