Checked my water bill after 11 months of ignoring it, found a leak I never knew about
The meter showed 3,400 extra gallons over what we actually used, so now I'm walking around with a wrench listening to every pipe in the house, has anyone else discovered a silent leak this way or am I just the last one to notice?

Is it really that big of a deal though? 3,400 gallons over almost a year works out to like a toilet that runs for a minute a day, not exactly a flood.
