Cleaned out my old phone and saw I had 12,000 photos.

It was from a phone I used for three years. I scrolled back and saw pictures of my old car, a coffee shop that closed, and friends I don't see much now. Felt weird to hit that big number without noticing. How many photos do you guys keep on your phone?

Yeah I feel you Patricia, that thing about "feels like losing memories" really hit me. I still have photos from my first phone back in 2016, mostly blurry shots of my dog and random sunsets. Deleting them just feels wrong even if I never look at them again. My current phone is at like 8,000 and I keep telling myself I'll sort through them but I never do.

Wait, you're deleting stuff just to make room for new photos? That's so much work, @jesse290, I can't believe you actually do that. Doesn't getting rid of old pictures feel like losing memories or something?
