Found a weird way to stop my phone from sliding off the couch arm
I was tired of it falling on the floor, so I put a small piece of that rubbery shelf liner under it. Hasn't moved an inch in three days. Anyone got a better trick that doesn't look so janky?

Silicone wristband is a solid idea. I use a cheap one from a local fun run. Grips the phone perfectly, blends in with the dark fabric. Way less of an eyesore than that weird liner stuff.

Saw a tip online about using a silicone wristband. Just loop one around the arm of the couch. It actually works pretty well and looks cleaner than liner. Might be worth a try.

The silicone wristband trick is the way to go. I got a couple from a local 5k and they actually hold the phone better than any of the sticky pads I tried. The key is to find a wide band because the skinny ones let the phone slide around still. I saw @the_thea mention that same idea and it really does blend in with dark fabric, got a black one on my gray couch and you barely notice it. No more fishing my phone out from between the cushions.
