Just found out my local grocery store marks down meat at 7am not 7pm
I've been going after work for years looking for those yellow discount stickers and never found any. Yesterday I asked the butcher why and he said they do markdowns right when the store opens at 7am not in the evening. How do you figure out the best time to grab discounted stuff at your store?

Asked the dude at my store once and he just shrugged and said "whenever we get to it." So now I just swing by whenever I'm there and hope for the best, feels like a total crapshoot. But 7am makes sense, guess the early birds get the cheap steaks.
