My neighbor in Omaha said something about my lawn that's still bugging me
I was out with the mower on Saturday morning and my neighbor Dale leaned over the fence and said, "You know, cutting it short like that just makes the weeds come back faster." I've been doing it at the lowest setting for 4 years because it looks cleaner, but I looked it up after and he's right, tall grass chokes out weeds. Now I keep seeing all the weeds in the yard and it's driving me up the wall. Does anyone actually cut their grass taller on purpose, or is Dale just a lawn nerd?
