Spent 45 minutes trying to open a jar of pickles last night

I bought a new jar of bread and butter pickles from the grocery store on my way home. The lid was sealed so tight I tried every trick I could think of. I used a rubber band for grip, ran it under hot water, and even tapped it on the counter. After 45 minutes of wrestling with it, I finally got my husband to try and he opened it in about 10 seconds. Has anyone else had a jar lid that just would not budge no matter what you did?

Oh wait did he actually rub it in her face lmao? That would be so cringey honestly. Like you already know you won the argument, you don't gotta be a jerk about it. I swear some people take competition way too far even in casual debates. It just makes them look insecure more than anything.
