Had a vintage radio literally start singing to me yesterday
Was working on a 1960s tube set for a client, and after I replaced a few caps, it powered on and played a faint, warbly version of 'Happy Birthday'. The thing hasn't had a signal source connected in 30 years. Ever have a repair just get weird on you?

That radio must have been storing up that birthday wish for decades. I'd check if the client's birthday is coming up, maybe you just gave them the world's creepiest greeting card. Old tube gear can hold onto signals like a weird audio time capsule.

Used to think ghost signals were just old techs telling stories. Fixed a 70s CB radio once that picked up a taxi dispatch from a city 200 miles away, clear as day. Changed my whole view on how signals can bounce around and get stuck in old gear.
