Hot air station nozzle caught fire mid-reflow, had to improvise
Was fixing a laptop GPU on my bench in Milwaukee around 11pm when the cheap nozzle started glowing and spat out a small flame. I killed the power, grabbed a pair of pliers, and finished the reflow with a standard soldering iron tip wedged into the air pathway. Has anyone else had a nozzle melt down on them? What do you use for a backup when the main station dies?
