Monitor flicker turned out to be a fridge, not a GPU

Was chasing a random screen flicker in my home office for 3 days, replaced the PSU on my desktop and everything, still happened. Turns out my mini fridge compressor was throwing voltage dips on the same circuit every 20 minutes when it kicked on. Has anyone else chased a phantom issue that ended up being environmental, or am I the only one who blamed a good GPU first?

Been there with a space heater on the same outlet as my monitor setup years back. The screen would wobble just a tiny bit every time the thing cycled on, and I spent way too long messing with cables and drivers before it clicked. Honestly the fridge on the same circuit makes total sense, since a compressor pulling hard on startup can sag the voltage just enough to mess with a display but not enough to crash anything else. Feel for you on the PSU swap too, that is real money and time gone for nothing. At least now you know your power supply was fine the whole time.
