Picked a used hot air station over a new one, saved my bench budget
Had to choose between a new Aoyue 852A+ for $120 or a used Hakko 888 off Craigslist for $80. Went with the Hakko since I found one in Portland that looked barely touched. Took 20 minutes to recalibrate the temp sensor but it's held steady at 375C all week. Anyone else gamble on used gear for their main station?

That 888 is a soldering iron, not a hot air station, different tools lol.
