Spent three days chasing a phantom short in a vintage radio that turned out to be a single cold solder joint.
Everyone says to shotgun replace caps first, but this was a simple reflow on a single connection from 1978. Has anyone else had a 'big' problem with a tiny fix?

I read a forum post where a guy spent a week on a dead amplifier, and it was just a broken wire inside the insulation. Those old solder joints can be sneaky! It's crazy how the smallest thing can cause the biggest headache.
