Swapped my hot air station for a heat gun for board work, night and day

Used to baby every SMD pull with my expensive station, 20 minutes per chip. Tried a cheap heat gun with a narrow nozzle on a dead GPU last week, done in 3 minutes. Anyone else find the fancy stuff is sometimes just extra steps?

Swapped mine out last month after fighting with a stupid fine tip for an hour, the heat gun just blasts it off and I'm done before my coffee even cools. That fancy station's been collecting dust ever since, honestly feels like I was just making extra work for myself.
