That tip about using hot glue for loose board mounts was dead wrong
My buddy Mark from the forum swore hot glue would hold a loose capacitor board in my old stereo receiver. I tried it and the whole thing popped off after 15 minutes of play and shorted something out. Has anyone else had hot glue give out on them like that?

Wait, is this actually a big deal though? Like you shorted something out but maybe it's just a fuse or something cheap to fix... I dunno I feel like hot glue failures are common enough that everyone's had one blow up on them.

Right, because fixing a fried board is just like swapping a lightbulb @olivia_hernandez... hope you don't mind the smell of burnt electronics for a week.
