Paid $40 for the last Game of Thrones season on Blu-ray and it still stings
Bought the complete box set after season 7. Thought I was being smart. Spent $40 on season 8 alone because I couldn't wait. Watched the finale and just sat there. Felt like I got robbed. All that build up for nothing. Did anyone else feel like they wasted money on that ending too?

Man that $40 could've bought a whole new game on sale or a nice tank of gas. I remember sitting there after the finale thinking "that's it?" like I was waiting for a punchline that never came. The worst part is you can't even get your money back because some stores have that no return policy on opened movies. Honestly it's like paying full price for a burger and getting mostly bun with a tiny patty.

I bought that same $40 deluxe edition thinking I was getting some CINEMATIC masterpiece and ended up with a movie that felt like watching someone's midlife crisis filmed on a smartphone. Your burger metaphor is PERFECT because that's exactly what it was - all hype and no substance. I swear I've spent LESS on gas and gotten more satisfaction just sitting in my car listening to the radio.
