Spent $75 on the series finale of a show I loved and I'm still mad about it

I was a huge fan of 'The Last Beacon' and the finale was a two hour special event you had to pay for on a streaming service. I forked over the $75 thinking it would wrap everything up. Instead, it felt rushed, left three major plot holes open, and killed off my favorite character for no reason. The whole thing was just a cash grab to sell more merch, I swear. I watched it with my friend Sam and we just sat in silence for ten minutes after. It honestly ruined the whole series for me, which I'd been following for five years. Has anyone else had a finale completely change how you feel about a show?

Did you try to get a refund from the streaming service, or was it a no questions asked purchase?

Man, that's brutal. I used to defend those paid finales as supporting the creators, but a mess like that would change my mind real quick. Paying that much for a bad ending feels like a scam.
