Just realized the 'no sugar added' label on my orange juice was a total trap
I bought a carton of Tropicana Pure Premium that said 'no sugar added' on the front, thinking it was a healthier choice. When I checked the nutrition facts, a single 8-ounce glass still had 22 grams of sugar, which is just the natural sugar from the oranges. The label makes it sound like it's low-sugar, but it's not at all. Has anyone else been caught by this specific wording on fruit products?

My buddy did the same thing with apple sauce last week.

Wait, apple sauce? That's a whole different level. I can't even picture how that would work. Did he just... pour it in? The cleanup must have been a nightmare. I'm stuck on the idea of warm apple sauce in a car vent.

Ugh, that's so sneaky. It's like "no added sugar" peanut butter still being packed with natural sugar from the dates they use. You really have to read the whole label now.
