Vent: A trip to a farm in Vermont last fall made me realize 'cage-free' eggs are basically meaningless.

The farmer told me his 'cage-free' hens were still packed into a giant barn with barely any room to move, which is totally legal, so now I only buy eggs labeled 'pasture-raised' and pay the extra $2.50 a dozen.

Yeah, that "packed into a giant barn" part is exactly what I found out too. I switched to pasture-raised after seeing a similar setup and it's a totally different thing.

How do you find good pasture-raised brands?

My buddy saw that too, @hayes.wesley. Totally changed his mind.
