My park's new dog-free zones are splitting our community

The city added dog-free areas to our local park last month. Everyone acts like it's a great move for families, but I've seen regular dog walkers avoid the park now. My neighbor, an elderly man, told me he feels unwelcome there. Isn't it wrong to make one group leave to help another?

Actually, sections let everyone enjoy the park fairly.

Seen this, @reese_robinson's zones need shared hours so no one feels unwelcome.

My neighbor Mr. Peterson used to sit by the pond every morning, but he stopped after the signs went up. I mean, making whole sections off limits just pushes people out instead of fixing the real problem, which is a few bad owners. Now it feels like the park is for some people and not others, which kinda defeats the whole point of a public space.
